Get Dll from GAC Using SUBST Command

To copy dll file from GAC use Windows DOS Prompt and type following command and press enter.
"SUBST Z: C:\Windows\Assembly”
where Z is the is use as a Network Drive Letter. Make sure that the drive letter you are using in SUBST command exists in your system.
This command will create a virtual drive “Z” and this drive will have the internal view of GAC
Go to My Computer and you will see the Drive named “Z:”
Now to delete this drive, run this command on command prompt.
SUBST Z: /D
This will delete the Z: drive.
